Parang La Trek

The most sought after trail in Spiti Valley is Parang La Trek. It is the most ancient trek developed to create a way from Spiti Valley to Leh. It starts with one of the coldest places in the country, Kaza. It is definitely not a trek for weak hearted. Start hitting the gym before you go for this trek.

  • Days Required: 8 days trek
  • Source/Destination: From Spiti to Tso Moriri lake and then to Leh
  • Height: Parang la pass is the highest point – 18,300 feet

Pin Parvati Trek

The most challenging trek where you can also expect snowfall and death chilling temperature. It is a dream of all trekking enthusiasts and mountaineers to conquer this high altitude pass. It takes you at a height of 17,500 feet which is six times the height of Burj Khalifa. Best time to do this trek is from 2nd month of June to September.

  • Level of trek: Difficult
  • Days required: 12 days
  • Height: 17,500 feet
  • You should know: Due to the high risk of landslide and shooting stone area and many accidents happened during the last few months, people and trek tour companies stopped organizing these treks.

Note: Alternative of Pin Parvati is Pin Bhabha peak trek

Pin Bhabha Peak

This peak offers a view to almost all the Himalayan peaks located in Himachal Pradesh and that too with a moderate trail. Yes, even the fewer experiences trekkers can summit Pin Bhabha peak. It is not an easy trek but only includes view tough sections that you need to cross carefully. It takes you through alpine forests, beautiful grasslands, and a lot of beautiful villages on the way.

  • Saddle Point is the highest point
  • Height: 16,000 feet
  • Level: Moderate to challenging
  • Days Required: 8days trek

Kanamo Peak trek

Before you start climbing Kanamo peak, you need to set up a base camp near Kanamo Lake. Just to greed you more, when you summit Kanamo Peak, you get the magnificent 360-degree view of Ladakh, Spiti, Kinnaur, and Kullu. It is not a very long and tough trek but beautiful enough for an amazing experience. It covers over a distance of 27 km within 7 days.

  • Days Required: 7 days
  • Height:  19555 feet

Hampta Pass trek (with/without Chandra Taal)

  • Days Required: 5 days trek
  • Height: 4270 mt
